About gemRetailer

New Mexico Lottery gemRetailer is a web-based system for New Mexico Lottery retailers and chains. It displays sales data, Draw Games information, Scratchers information, and other related details. You can run reports at any time or schedule them to run later. You access the portal using a web browser with an internet connection. The recommended browser is Google® Chrome. The portal works on different computer types, screen sizes, and resolutions.

After you log in, the Dashboard page displays by default.

Role Types

gemRetailer has three main role types. Each role includes specific sub-roles.

Corporate

Corporate account users have access to information for some or all retailer locations in their account, based on their configured access.

  • Super Users can create and manage users under their specified account.

  • Manager users have access to information for individual locations as assigned by the Corporate Super Users.

  • Headquarters users have access to information for headquarters as assigned by the Corporate Super Users.
Retailer 

Retailer account users have access to information only for their specified retailer location.

  • Super Users can create and manage users under their specified retailer location.

  • Clerk users have access to information for their individual location.
Lottery

Lottery account users have access to information for all retailer locations and accounts.

  • IT Security users have access to all portal functionality and manage Corporate, Retailer, and Lottery user accounts. They can also create and manage users of all role types.

  • IT Developer users have access to information for all chains and retailers and manage system-related administrative functions.

  • Retailer Ops Super Users have access to information for all chains and retailers and maintain news items and game UPC numbers that are displayed on the Dashboard page. They can also create and manage users of all role types.

  • Lottery Staff users have access to information for all chains and independent retailers.
